But on a more personal note… Happy New Year!

That’s right as of Midnight tonight it will be 2008!  Any neat resolutions from you guys?  I have a few plans/resolutions for ’08 so check out my list below…

1. Post more news.  I want to make a habit of posting more than the VC and Smash Bros updates with one or two stories in between.
2. More Reviews.  We’re always trying our best with this one, but once again that depends on our schedules and the game release schedule.
3. Get a Podcast going.  Danny and I have already recruited a new member for podcasting, that sets us at 3 people, once we recruit some more expect a podcast!
4. And Last but not least, possibly get our own domain name.  This isn’t a big requirement, but I figure now that I have a job I should be able to get afford our own site domain, free of “.wordpress.com”  but we’ll see what happens.

YAY!

More Bomberman in ’08

That Bomberman Tournament sounds pretty cool, as long as it’s not the new realistic hardcore bomberman.  Other than that Cheers to Bomberman.

This Week’s VC Update

Bubble Bobble- NES, Rated E

It’s that crazy “Puzzle Action” game, where you play as a newborn Bubble Dragon, and you go through 100 stages where you must trap your enemies inside bubble to gain points.  I haven’t played the Bubble Bobble series before, but it looks like I may have to check this one out.

Light Crusader- Genesis, Rated E

Light Crusader is  an Action-RPG.  In the story you play as a knight known as “Sir David” who has been sent out to find the missing townspeople of Green Row.  I personally arn’t to interested in this game, but as I’ve said before don’t let that stop you from giving it a try.

Top Hunter- NEOGEO, Rated E10+

In Top Hunter, you play as either Roddy or Cathy, one of the Top Bounty Hunters (that’s right, you’re not hunting deer, or bears in this game).   And as bounty Hunters it’s up to you to take out the evil Space Pirates (how many games involve bounty hunters and space pirates?)  Anyway, this game just seems weird, I may give it a try at some point but not right away.

And Gamespots game of the year goes to…

SUPER MARIO GALAXY!!!

There you go, just more proof that if you haven’t gotten this game yet, it’s time you pick it up.  And I’m serious buy this now!

New “Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and The Promissed Land” Trailer

This Week’s VC Update

Blades of Steel- NES, Rated E

It’s like that game Ice Hockey for the NES, but more realistic.  The characters are more detailed and you compete in a tournament.  I don’t plan to pick this one up mostly because I already have Ice Hockey.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble- SNES, Rated E

It’s like Nintendo’s holiday gift for Danny.  The Third installment of the Donkey Kong Country Series, where you must play as Dixie Kong, or Kiddy Kong and save the captured Donkey and Diddy Kong.  I haven’t played this, but I’m sure I’ll download it eventually.

Rolling Thunder 2- Genesis, Rated E

In this side-scrolling shooting adventure, you play as one of two members of the Rolling Thunder Task Force, and you must take down the evil Geldra organization.  I’ve never played this and it honestly doesn’t appeal to me that much, however I could be wrong.

That’s right the holiday season is upon us, and it’s almost over at the time.  Hanukka went well (I assume) and unfortunatly I didn’t get the chance to make a Hannukka Banner for the site, but I promise one for next year.  However christmas ans Kwanzza are on there way, so a very happy Christmas/ Kwanzza to those readers.  I plan to make a special Holiday Banner if I get the chance in the next few days, so look forward to that.

While I have more free time this next week I can’t promise an increase in news due to the normal Holiday slow down, as well as visits from relatives and et. cetra, but I’ll do my best.

 Happy Holidays everyone, and of course Happy Non-holidays to our readers who don’t celebrate the holidays, and happy Holiday-I-haven’t-been-informed-of Holidays to those.  Well it looks like I’ve covered everything.
